Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is taking part in anti-racism protest in Ottawa.
Friday's protest is one of many across the country today in opposition to police brutality in a number of American cities.
The unrest across the U.S. comes after the death of George Floyd; who was killed in police custody on May 25 in Minneapolis.
Trudeau could be seen kneeling in solidarity with the crowd on Parliament Hill live on CTV News.
Some people in crowd urged him to stand up to U.S. President Donald Trump; others booed the prime minister.
It was uncertain if Trudeau would attend the event, but he did make his way into the crowd mid-afternoon with security guards donning a black mask.
