The Spitfires are missing several players away at NHL training camps this week, including defenceman Tyler Nother.
Nother and teammate Jalen Chatfield are both attending the camp of the San Jose Sharks.
Nother tells AM800 Sports, " It all comes down to coaching and the opportunity I was given here. Warren gave me a good chance and so did Rocky and I can't thank them enough."
Nother will report to San Jose, then travel to Colorado to take part in some rookie games.
