A 47-year-old Windsor man has been charged after a church was vandalized earlier this month.
Windsor police say the suspect was identified through tips from the public and further investigation.
Members of the Problem-Oriented Policing Unit located and arrested him in the 2300 block of Pelissier Street on Aug. 22.
He faces two counts of mischief under $5,000.
The charges stem from an Aug. 7 incident in which a man allegedly threw rocks through two windows of a church in the 100 block of Giles Boulevard East before leaving on foot.
Police thanked the public for helping identify the suspect.
