A tentative deal is in place for unionized workers at Flex N Gate Lakeshore.
Unifor Local 195 represents the workers and says a tentative agreement was reached on Thursday, May 14.
Earlier this month, the workers voted 98.8 per cent in favour of strike action to back contract demands.
At that time, Local 195 president Emile Nabbout said the union was focusing on making gains across the board, including wages.
The union represents 166 workers at the plant on Patillo Road.
The workers’ current collective agreement expires on May 17.
Workers will vote on the tentative deal Friday at 3 p.m. at the union hall on Somme Avenue.
