Police are looking for a mystery vehicle that may be involved in the Autumn Taggart murder investigation.
Taggart, also known as Maya Madolyn, has been identified as the victim in a homicide investigation that began on Sunday June 10 at around 8pm — it happened at an apartment building on University Ave. W. and McKay Ave.

Windsor Police Services held a press conference at the scene of the investigation Saturday in the hopes the public will step forward with more information.
Sergeant Ted Novak revealed blunt-forced-trauma took the life of the 31-year-old and has confirmed there were no signs of forced entry into the apartment. He tells AM800 News Major Crimes is looking to identify an SUV that was parked in the rear of the building.

"There was a vehicle in the rear of the building between 2am and 7am [on June 10] it was a dark coloured newer SUV," Novak says. "We're looking to talk to the owner or anyone who has information about that that vehicle."
Novak is asking neighbours to take a look at their surroundings and reach out to police if they see anything out of the ordinary.
"We're asking neighbours close by if they notice anything in the back yard that they don't remember seeing prior to June 10," says Novak. "Call our office and our officers will come out and take a look at it and if it ends up being evidentiary we'll be seizing that."
He says there are several avenues residents can take if they have any information.
"Call our dispatchers so we can go to their house, we're in the neighbourhood right now from 10am to 6pm if they want to come and talk to us," says Novak. "If not there's also the option of going the main office and talking to someone there and asking to speak to a Major Crimes Detective and the third is to call Crime Stoppers anonymously."
Taggart's nine-year-old son was in the apartment at the time of the murder, Novak says he's currently with family.
The mobile command centre will remain near the corner of University Ave. W. and McKay from 10am to 6pm Sunday as well.
