Red Wings captain Henrik Zetterberg says he will play at least one more year in Detroit. According to the "Detroit Free Press", the 37-year-old is in training and looking forward to a better season.
Zetterberg signed a 12-year contract with the Wings in 2009 and still has three years left on the deal.
He had surgery on a herniated disc in 2014 and in April said he would take some time to evaluate if his back would allow him to continue to play.
Zetterberg ended the 2017-18 season with 960 points and he would have a chance to reach the 1000 mark if he returns.
