Windsor Police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect wanted in connection to an assault in the city's east end.
According to police, on Tuesday, June 13, at 2 p.m. officers launched an investigation after an assault was reported at the intersection of Tecumseh Road East and Cadillac Street.
Through investigation officers say they learned that the victim, who was an elderly man, was approached by an individual and after a brief conversation, was punched in the head which left him unconscious.
Police say the suspect then fled the scene on a bicycle.
The victim was sent to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and police say it's unknown at this time if the suspect and victim were known to each other.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 20 to 30 years old, five-foot-nine, with a large build.
According to police, at the time of the incident the man was wearing black shorts and a black shirt.
