The quarterfinals take place today in Russia at the World Cup

The two highest-ranked teams left in the World Cup following Germany's early exit meet today in the quarter-finals.

Second-ranked Brazil takes on number-three Belgium.

The winner will play either France or Uruguay in the semis.

Uruguay coach Oscar Tabarez is not saying whether striker Edinson Cavani has recovered from a left calf injury to play against France in today's other match.

There are two more games tomorrow including England playing Sweden and Russia taking on Croatia.
