An unusual find at the Ambassador Bridge last month.
On September 20th, two Canadian residents declared $760 in antiquities including a Woolly Mammoth tusk.
After examining the items, the actual value was closer to $6,100.
There are no restrictions on importing the items, but travelers need to declare proper value.
A penalty of $3,317 was paid and the goods were released.
If the item had been properly declared, the amount to import it would have been 98-dollars.
No charges were laid.
