A Windsor man is facing a long list of charges following an incident where a woman managed to wrestle away a sawed off shotgun.
Police were called to a business on Tecumseh Road East last Thursday morning.
A man shoved his way past a female customer, demanded money from an employee and said he had gun in the bag he was carrying.
The woman then grabbed the bag and ran outside calling for help.
The suspect caught up with her and started beating her up in the parking lot.
Officers arrived quickly and found the suspect hiding in a backyard shed.
28-year old Christopher Johns is charged with two counts of robbery with a weapon, assault and several other weapons related offences.
