A woman charged in the death of a newborn in Windsor has been released from custody.
Following a hearing on Monday, bail for the 27-year-old woman was set at $25,000.
On June 8, 2019, two babies were taken to the hospital.
One had non-life threatening injuries, while the other suffered critical injuries and died 23 days later.
A bail hearing Monday outlined the details of the case which are under a publication ban.
The woman and 28-year-old man were charged with second-degree murder in the death of the baby.
A publication ban prevents releasing their names.
The father charged in the case was part of Monday's hearing, but his case was put over to another date.
The two accused were seated in the prisoner's box Monday morning, but at opposite ends.
They are also charged with assaulting the other newborn.
