The Wolfhead Distillery in Amherstburg will soon be adding craft beer to its product line.
Town council has approved the necessary zoning change. Mayor Aldo DiCarlo welcomes the expansion and says "craft breweries seem to be the new business that people are starting to explore and the fact that they chose Amherstburg to do it in just speaks volumes for the town of Amherstburg and being open to businesses like that."
Right now, Wolfhead makes small batch vodka, whisky, flavoured vodka and whisky and liqueurs.
The company will team up with the Lonsbery Brewing Company to produce craft beer at its Howard Ave. location.
