Ontario Provincial Police are looking for witnesses to an assault that happened in Tecumseh over the Victoria Day long weekend.
As you heard on AM 800 news, the mother of a teenage girl claimed her daughter was beat up for no reason by a group of girls following the fireworks at Green Acres Optimist Park on St. Gregory's Road.
Stephanie LaRocque says her 15-year old was approached by a group of girls while leaving the park, was knocked to the ground, punched and kicked suffered bruises, soreness and a black eye.
The incident was videotaped and shared on social media, CLICK HERE to see the video.
The OPP began an investigation and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact the Tecumseh OPP Detachment at 519-735-2424.
