A LaSalle teen is thanking Make-A-Wish.
14-year-old Sabiano Sandor had his wish granted by the organization earlier this month.
He was diagnosed with leukemia in 2014 and following his treatments made a wish to meet soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo.
His wish came true when the organization surprised him and flew him to Italy for six days.
Sandor says he met the Juventus player on May 13th.
"It was pretty amazing meeting him, seeing someone that I watch on tv, the best player in my opinion," says Sandor.
Sandor tells AM800 news how he felt when meeting his favourite player.
"A little nervous, a little shock that I'm in front of him but I never thought it would be possible and he's a really nice person," says Sandor.
Sandor also met a few other Juventus players including Douglas Costa and Paulo Dybala.
He says he feels perfect and feels like a normal kid again.
