Terrys shootoutwinner lifts the Ducks past the Red Wings 32

Troy Terry scored the only goal of the shootout as the Anaheim Ducks nipped the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in Anaheim.  

Jakob Silfverberg scored in the third period for Anaheim to force overtime in Monday's NHL game. 

 Hampus Lindholm had the other Ducks' goal.  

John Gibson recorded 19 saves as Anaheim improved to 3-and-0.  

Detroit goalie Jimmy Howard turned back 25-of-27 shots in defeat.  

Tyler Bertuzzi and Darren Helm had goals for the Red Wings, who are winless in their first three games.

The Wings are back home to host the Maple Leafs on Thursday.
