Wings Fall To Rangers In Overtime

The Red Wings lost 10 in overtime to the Rangers in Detroit.

J.T. Miller broke a scoreless tie 1:56 into overtime as the Rangers blanked the Red Wings 1-0 at Joe Louis Arena. Henrik Lundqvist made 21 saves for his second shutout of the season. New York has won back-to-back games on the heels of a three-game skid.

Jared Coreau stopped 18 shots for the Wings, who have earned at least a point in five straight.

Detroit lost leading scorer Thomas Vanek to a leg injury at the end of the first period.

The Wings are in Boston tomorrow night.
