After getting shut out in Anaheim the night before, the Red Wings returned the favor to the Kings with a 4-0 win last night in Los Angeles.
Jared Coreau stopped all 34 shots he faced in net for Detroit. Thomas Vanek scored twice in a three-goal first period that got the Wings off and running.
It snapped a two-game losing streak. The Wings are 2-1-and-1 on their seven-game road trip. It continues tomorrow night in San Jose.
