The Red Wings rallied from a 4-1 first period deficit for a 6-5 shootout win over the Boston Bruins last night at Joe Louis Arena.
Dylan Larkin, Xavier Ouellet, Andreas Athanasiou, Tomas Tatar and Gustav Nyquist scored for Detroit in regulation, while Thomas Vanek and Frans Nielsen each had a shootout goal.
Starting goalie Jared Coreau gave up three goals on five shots and was replaced in the first by Petr Mrazek. Mrazek stopped 23 shots in the win.
The Wings take their three game winning streak on the road when they face off against the Sabres in Buffalo tomorrow night.
