There is now wine on selected grocery stores shelves.
Here in Windsor-Essex, the Kingsville Zehrs Great Food store is the latest to sell wine and beer.
Store Manager Rick Postma says the launch happened Friday morning and it has been well received.
He says his store is selling beer and wine.
"We have 50 percent Ontario wines and 50 percent imported wines and with our beer, we have 50 percent craft beers and 50 percent domestic beer," says Postma.
Leamington's Real Canadian Superstore also launched the wine and beer program today.
Last year, the Real Canadian Superstore on Walker Road began selling beer.
There are now 67 grocery stores across the province that are allowed to sell wine and another 57 that are selling beer and cider.
