We will not be silent and we will not go away -- the message for the next President of the United States.
As many as 200,000 women are planning a march on Washington, D.C. January 21st, the day after Donald Trump is sworn in, and a Windsor delegation is taking part.
Organizer Pat Papadeas says many find the rhetoric used by Trump during the election campaign frightening and it's important to show solidarity with their American counterparts.
"In Canada, we have not necessarily reached the place that is ideal for women, but we are certainly way ahead in terms of sentiment, in terms of our national leadership ...with our Prime Minister who calls himself a feminist."
Papadeas says the march, aimed at preserving womens' rights, will be peaceful and inclusive.
Trump becomes America's 45th President on January 20th.
