A Windsor woman kept Chatham-Kent police busy by being arrested twice in one day — within hours.
Earlier this month, the woman was charged with assault and she wasn't allowed to be in the city of Chatham except for court purposes.
On April 25th, the woman was seen in Chatham and a warrant was issued for her arrest.
At 2pm yesterday, police located her at the court house and was arrested on the outstanding warrant. She was further charged with criminal harassment, uttering threats and assault. At 4:11pm, she was released with conditions. At 4:30pm, the Windsor woman allegedly stared down a Chatham woman known to her and under the court conditions, she wasn't support to communicate with her directly or indirectly. As the Chatham woman drove by, the Windsor woman raised her hand and made an "innappropriate gesture" at her.
Police were called and the Windsor woman was arrested again for failing to comply.
She is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
