The Windsor Symphony Orchestra is getting ready for its 2020-2021 season.
Music Director Maestro Robert Franz says the 73rd season gets underway at the end of the September and will run until May 2021.
He says the new season will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the birth of Beethoven.
"For us that's like mecca," says Franz. "I mean Beethoven is everything in the orchestra world."
The WSO will also pay tribute to the 100th anniversary of Windsor's Capitol Theatre.
Franz says show attendance continues to grow.
"Over the past few years we've really seen the number of folks that have come to our concerts grow and grow and grow and we love it," says Franz. "One of the things that it's meant, is that people are starting to buy tickets earlier because it's not just a given, oh there will also be seats at the Windsor Symphony, not so anymore and so you have to plan ahead just a little bit more."
