E.J Lajeunesse High School in Windsor is hoping to expand its students minds by expanding its popular sport-study program.
Already offered in dance and hockey, soccer is being added to the line-up.
Principal Thomas Couvillion says the program allows students to play and learn at the same time. "I am a person who believes that we have to change a lot in our education to engage students. The world is changing and we have to go out and meet their needs. I think you will see in the future more sports programs added to this and as well as more arts programs added."
Students get some hands-on experience in the sport of their choice every morning before school.
Those in the sports-study programs are reported by the school to have a high academic success rate.
