While most Canadians saw their median incomes increase over the decade from 2005 to 2015, Windsor's fell back.
Statistics Canada is out with figures to show the trend in income in that period.
It indicates the resource sector gained while manufacturing slipped, pointing out that Ontario was one of the hardest hit provinces in that time.
Overall media income in Canada advanced 10.8% over those 10 years, while Windsor experienced a decline of 6.4%
Ontario made a gain of 3.8% in income over that decade, falling 7% behind the national average.
