Windsor's Mayor believes at least one item on the city's wish list will come through in the provincial budget this afternoon.
But Drew Dilkens is doubtful about the other major "ask" will come through.
Dilkens believes this will be good news for Windsor.
He says the funding would pave the way toward construction: "I'm really excited about the hospital and what this budget means for the future of the new health care facilities we've been tlaking about for many years, there's been a great dialogue and discourse and the plan is well laid out"
Dilkens doubts there will be any money for the Law Faculty moving downtown at the Paul Martin Building.
He hopes the province will balance the budget this time as the city is required to do in its budget.
