Windsor's own Matt Martin is heading back to where it all began for him in the NHL.
The Toronto Maple Leafs traded Martin back to the New York Islanders for goaltender Eamon McAdam.
Martin played seven seasons on the Island before spending the last two with the Leafs. He had 21 points and 173 penalty minutes over 132 games with the Leafs.
The 29-year-old forward has two years left on a four-year, $10-million contract he signed to join the Leafs before the 2016-17 NHL season.
