Windsor's jobless rate is down slightly.
It dropped to 5.2% in January, compared to 5.3% in December 2018.
Across the country, more people were looking for work last month which pushed the unemployment rate to 5.8%, up from a 43-year low of 5.6 % in December.
The economy saw 66,800 net new jobs in January, mostly in the private sector.
By region, Ontario and Quebec had the biggest job gains, while Alberta shed jobs for a second-straight month.
