It appears the City of Windsor may have a tough time holding the line on taxes for an ninth straight year.
City council received the draft budget over the weekend and is currently going over it.
Mayor Drew Dilkens tells CTV Windsor if council wants a zero percent increase, it would most likely mean the closure of some facilities.
"I suspect that council will have a very difficult time getting to zero this year with the cuts that are proposed," says Dilkens.
Dilkens would not share specifics of the budget but plans to release more details later this week.
Budget deliberations are expected to take place in January.
