It's four days of blues, rock and 90's throwbacks at the 2018 Windsor Bluesfest.
More than 24 bands ranging from straight blues to rock and '90's hip-hop will take the stage at Riverfront Festival Plaza beginning Thursday.
Artistic Director Jeff Burrows told AM800's The Afternoon News that this year's festival has exceeded expectations so far.
"This year we're beyond double sales for every single night and Sunday is with no lie, more than ten times the sales of last year," he says.
Traditional blues artists like Jonny Lang and Colin James will hit the stage, but this year's festival will add '90s hip-hop artists like Vanilla Ice and Young MC to appeal to more than just the blues fans in the area.
"There's a bit of trickery going on but diversity is a great thing as well because there's more of an offering for everybody," Burrows added.
The festival runs until Sunday.
