There are some new paediatric IV poles at Windsor Regional Hospital.
The Fight Like Mason Foundation donated 39 decorated poles to the hospital's Paediatric Services Unit on Tuesday morning.
The poles have been decorated as super heroes, princess crowns, animals and fire trucks in honour of Mason Macri.
Mason was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2015 and passed away at the age of four in June 2016.
Mason's mother Chantelle says the foundation wanted to give back to the community.
"This idea started from just Mason being attached to an IV pole 24-7 and we knew that this needed to be a little bit more child friendly and to bring colour and fun things to kids," says Macri.

Mason's father Iain hopes the decorated poles bring smiles to children's faces.
"For a child going through any sort of medical treatment it's intimating, it's scary and it puts them in a hard position and with something like this behind them or next to them maybe it doesn't have to be like that for them," says Macri. "Certainly they still have to be in the hospital, still have to have the procedure done but they can have something pretty cool standing next to them."

Last year (September 2017) the foundation presented 20 decorated IV poles to the LHIN for children receiving care in the community.
The poles were decorated by two local companies, Klassen Custom Fab and SES Powder Coating.
The Macri's hope this becomes a yearly tradition.
