WINDSOR — The Windsor Public Library is turning a new page.
A rebranding strategy is set to get underway which includes a new, more colourful logo.
Board chair Rino Bortolin says with several branches undergoing renovations, the library thought this was a good time to update itself.
"With the expansion at Budimir, with the move downtown, with the move on the west end, with all these new changes we felt it was a good time for a refresh of the branding," says Bortolin. "It's been, I believe, 12 to 15 years since the last logo was done. So we just spruced it up."
He points out patrons won't see any changes to service.
"The same great service that you see day in and day out. Staff have done a phenomenal job with all the changes, all the transitions," he says.
Bortolin says just over $40,000 is expected to be spent on changing signage and rebranding vehicles.
The library board will discuss the issue at its Tuesday afternoon meeting.
