A Windsor, Ont. man faces numerous charges after a cocaine bust on the city's south side.
The Windsor Police Service Drugs and Guns (DIGS) Unit began its investigation in March of this year.
Over the course of several months, officers say they identified a suspect they believe was using a number of different vehicles to traffic illicit drugs in the area.
Police say they received judicial authorization to search the suspects home and vehicle associate with the suspect.
Officers located and arrested the man without incident Thursday. A search warrant was then executed on a home in the 3400 block of Dougall Avenue and the vehicle in question.
In total, the DIGS Unit seized 186.2 grams of cocaine, with an estimated street value of $18,620 and $19,785 in Canadian cash.
Twenty-eight-year-old Namir Zec is facing 11 charges, including multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine) and possession of property obtained by crime.
Windsor police say the investigation remains active; they're asking anyone with information to contact police of Crime Stoppers anomalously.
