A drug bust in Ford City turned up crack cocaine and weapons Thursday night.
Windsor Police searched a home in the 900 Block of Maisonville Ave. near Edna St. after a number of complaints from area residents.
The Drug and Gun Enforcement Unit located a man associated with the address near Ford Centre Drive and found 15 grams of crack cocaine, worth an estimated $1,500 and $455 in his possession.
A short time later officers executed the search warrant on the residence on Maisonville.
Police seized an air pistol and a digital scale from the home.
Forty-six-year-old Robert Crawford of Windsor is charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of firearm with defaced serial number, and three counts of possession of a firearm while prohibited.
Police would like to remind the public of the danger imitation firearms pose when carried in public places. Officers have a hard time determining if a replica is a real weapon even from short distances.
Officers will treat them like real firearms until proven otherwise.
