One person is in custody and a second remains at large after a break and enter in downtown Windsor.
On November 14th, officers were called to an apartment building near Tuscarora St. and Ouellette Ave. for a break and enter.
According to police, a large quantity of property was stolen.
Members of the Property Crimes Unit reviewed video surveillance and found a suspect forced his way into the building along with a separate business around 3:30 a.m. — he returned about two and a half hours later with a second unknown man and was seen taking electronics and other items.
Officers were able to identify the first suspect and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
He was arrested on Boxing Day in the 300 block of Bruce Ave.
A 42-year-old from Windsor is charged with four counts of break and enter and theft under $5,000.
The second suspect is described as a white male, wearing a pink hooded sweater, black toque, black jacket, dark jeans and carrying a red backpack.
