The province's Special Investigations Unit has found no reasonable grounds to lay criminal charges against a Windsor police officer following a stabbing investigation a year ago.
Police were called to a home on Riverside Drive near Crawford last April.
A 27-year old man was reluctant to open the door but eventually did after repeated negotiations and was then taken to hospital for serious leg injuries.
The SIU says the man suffered self-inflicted stab wounds and police did nothing wrong while helping in the situation.
