Windsor police lay 234 enforcement actions in four days

Drivers are being reminded to obey traffic laws and keep roads safe.

The reminder comes after Windsor police laid 234 enforcement actions over the last four days.

The traffic enforcement unit also stopped three drivers for stunt driving on Thursday, May 14.

Police say a 24-year-old man was going 97 km/h in a 50 km/h zone in the 2200 block of South Cameron Blvd., and a 22-year-old man was driving 101 km/h in a 60 km/h zone in the area of College Ave. and Huron Church Rd.

Officers also stopped an 18-year-old woman after she was clocked going 130 km/h in an 80 km/h zone in the area of County Rd. 9 and South Side Rd. in Amherstburg.

The drivers had their vehicles impounded for 14 days and licences suspended for 30 days.
