Windsor police have issued a Canada wide arrest warrant following a parental abduction of two children.
An investigation was launched in April 2019, after a woman complained to Windsor Police Service.
Officers from the Major Crimes Branch continued the investigation and believe the suspect travelled in mid-April from Toronto, Ontario to Lebanon with both the children - ages 5 and 9.
Police have been in communication with the suspect and believe he remains in Lebanon with the two children.
Investigators have also been in regular contact with the complainant, keeping her up-to-date on the progress of the case.
34-year-old Achraf Zeidan is currently wanted for two counts of parental abduction and disobey a court order.
Police spokesperson Steve Betteridge says they continue their efforts to have the children returned to Canada and to have the accused appear in court to answer to the charges.
