Windsor police are investigating a threats-related incident at Windsor Regional Hospital.
According to police, officers responded to a report of a potential threat towards the hospital shortly after 4 a.m.
Police say the hospital immediately initiated lockdown procedures, and officers conducted a comprehensive search.
The Major Crimes Unit has taken over the investigation, and access to the hospital has been restored.
Windsor police say additional information will be shared once it becomes available.
