Windsor police are investigating reports of gunfire in a west end neighbourhood.
Officers were called Saturday, September 28th at 4:15pm to the area of Bloomfield Rd. and Prince Rd. for shots fired.
Police found a spent shell casing on Bloomfield Rd. and the scene was contained.
Officers canvassed the area and interviewed witnesses.
Windsor police Sergeant Steve Betteridge says no one was hurt.
"There are not any reports of any injuries here so that's a good thing," he says. "But nonetheless, anytime there is an illegal discharge of a firearm, that is something that is treated extremely seriously."
Investigators learned that four to five shots were fired and two vehicles were seen speeding away from the area.
The first vehicle is a white smaller sedan with tinted windows.
The second vehicle is a blue-grey older model Nissan Altima.
Police believe there may be damage to one or both vehicles.
