Windsor police have arrested a suspect following a crime spree that included several convenience store robberies.
Thursday morning, police investigated three incidents within two hours including one case where a suspect tried to force his way into a restaurant on Huron Church Rd.
Then 30 minutes later, police were called to a store on Lauzon Rd. for a robbery where a suspect grabbed an employee while holding a knife and demanded cash and cigarettes.
An hour later, the same suspect entered a store on Campbell Ave. and grabbed an employee demanding cash.
No one was hurt but police were able to identify a suspect and linked him to three prior convenience store robberies that occurred on Monday, August 13.
Around 1pm Thursday, officers located the suspect on Millen St. and placed him under arrest.
Rofail Toto, 21, of Windsor is charged with six counts of robbery and one count of mischief.
