Windsor police have arrested a suspect in a convenience store robbery over the weekend.
Around 3:30pm on Sunday, October 7, officers were called to the store in the 4000 block of Tecumseh Rd. East near George Ave. for a robbery that had just occurred.
A suspect had allegedly entered the store holding a knife and demand money and merchandise from the employee.
The suspect was wearing a black ski-mask and a hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.
He had allegedly also threatened the employee.
After getting some money and items, he fled the scene.
Police viewed surveillance video and were able to identify the suspect who was arrested Monday morning at a motel on Howard Ave.
A 31-year-old Windsor man is charged with robbery with a weapon, wearing a mask/disguise with intent and uttering threats.
