Windsor Pilot Makes Emergency Landing in ChathamKent

Transport Canada and the Transport Safety Board are investigating

No injuries are reported after a pilot from Windsor had to make an emergency landing in Chatham-Kent.

According to Chatham-Kent police, the pilot made an emergency landing on Tuesday around 8pm in a field on Middle Line.

Police say the engine of the CH-601 aircraft failed.

Transport Canada and the Transport Safety Board were notified and are now investigating.
