The Windsor Peace Coalition held a rally today in protest of the inauguration of President Donald Trump.
The open rally took place at the entrance to Jackson Park at 4:30pm nd lasted for an hour.
Member of the Windsor Peace Coalition Marcaila Taylor says she is not afraid to stand up to Trump.
"I am out here to be standing in peace. Not per say against Donald Trump, but against the way he talks about women and the public and media and the way he de-humanizes them," says Taylor.
A.G. Smith with the group says Canada needs to re-think their foreign policy regarding the United States.
"We stand for peace and on this particular day is a day when Trump has been elected and we see more of American exceptionalism under the guise of make American great again," says Smith. "We stand for a different Canadian Foreign Policy."
The coalition believes the new president represents hate, use of force, and has no respect for the general public.
