Time is running out to pre-register memorabilia donations to the Windsor Music Archive.
The local not-for-profit organization is looking to gather Windsor's musical history to build a physical and digital archive, and to promote Windsor as a musical destination.
Director A. J. Vanden Berghe says they are hosting an event at The Rondo this Friday to get the collection going.
He says the archive will serve as a celebration of Windsor's vast music history.
"We want to make a deal out of it, really get people to understand just how deep the history in this city goes," Vanden Berghe says. "We want to really promote what this city has been built on, and show where it's going as far as music and entertainment goes."
He says they're looking for things like music, posters, set lists and t-shirts.
"Even if you don't have physical items to donate, if you're a musician or you have some sort of connection to music in this city, please come on down."
Vanden Berghe says if you miss the pre-registry but have memorabilia to donate, to still come by The Rondo.
Friday's "One Night in Windsor" event will also host a giant open jam session.
Doors open at 11 a.m. for memorabilia donations.
The jam session, featuring local artists Christian Vegh, Crissi Cochrane, Jody Raffoul and more, will start around 7:30 p.m.
