Windsor Men Charged In Alleged Road Rage With Bear Spray

Police say a motorcyclist is accused of spraying a vehicle on Front Rd.

Two Windsor men have been charged in an alleged incident of road rage where bear spray was sprayed at a vehicle in Amherstburg

Police in Amherstburg were called May 11th over an incident between two motorcycles and a vehicle on Front Rd.

During the incident, police say one of the motorcyclists pulled alongside the vehicle and sprayed what appeared to be bear spray at the vehicle.

Police located the motorcycles in a parking lot on Sandwich St South where officers discovered both had been stolen.

A can of bear spray and a pellet rifle with a sawed-off barrel were also found.  The motorcyclists were found and arrested nearby.

30-year-old Kris Middleton of Windsor is charged with possession of stolen property obtained by crime, failing to comply with a probation order and possession of a firearm or ammunition.

34-year-old James Burleigh of Windsor is charged with possession of  stolen property obtained by crime and assault with a weapon.
