A Windsor man will learn his fate next month in an attempted murder and arson trial.
Closing arguments have taken place in the trial of 44-year-old Ken Kormendy who is accused of setting a house on fire injuring a 7-year-old girl and her mother.
The crown argued Kormendy poured gasoline on the girl and her mother because the mother wanted to break off their relationship.
The defence claims Kormendy was asleep in the master bedroom when the fire started.
Isabel Rueda, 7, suffered burns to 15% of her body in the fire on Balfour Blvd. in October 2015.
The judge will hand down his decision November 21 at 10am.
