A Windsor man has pleaded guilty following a large drug bust at the Ambassador Bridge.
Anthony Hutton, 46, pleaded guilty in Superior Court Wednesday morning to importing cocaine.
In May 2016, Hutton was driving a BMW with his young son in the car and was crossing the border from Michigan into Windsor.
Canada Border Services Agency officers referred him to secondary inspection and asked him to open the hood of the car.
He indicated he didn't know where the button was, but when the hood was open, officers discovered 8 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $800,000 to $1.2-million.
With the plea, he is facing a prison term.
A sentencing date will be set later this week.
