A Windsor man is facing several weapons charges after a suspicious incident in Tecumseh.
On Friday Nov. 30, the OPP were called to a home on Edgewater Boulevard.
Officers spoke to the man who said he had a firearm in his backpack.
Police found a rifle with a collapsible stock and a high capacity magazine; both are prohibited.
The firearm had been stolen from Windsor a year earlier and the suspect was on a previous court imposed condition not to have any weapons.
The 34-year-old Windsor man is facing a dozen charges including unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a prohibited weapon, carry a concealed weapon, careless storage of a firearm and trespassing.
