A 45yearold Windsor man has been charged
More than two dozen child porn related charges have been laid against a Windsor man.
In late March, police received information that a local resident may be involved in possessing and sharing child pornography over the internet.
Police launched an investigation and on Monday, July 9, at around 3:30pm, a man was located and arrested.
William Stevenson, 45, of Windsor is charged with eight counts of possesion of child porn, eight counts of distributing child porn, 10 counts of accessing child porn and 2 counts of making available sexually explicit material to a person believe to be under the age of 16 to facilitate the offence of sexual assault.
Investigators do not believe that any local children were involved.
