DIGS unit of Windsor police makes arrest
A 30-year-old Windsor man faces a number of drug and weapons charges from an investigation by the city's Drugs and Guns unit.
Yesterday afternoon (Wed Sept 20 5:15 pm) officers arrested a suspect on Ouellette Avenue downtown.
They found on him a quantity of marijuana and a folding knife.
When they searched his apartment a short time later they seized 4 grams of cocaine, about a third of a pound of pot and drug selling paraphernalia.
He's facing 2 drug trafficking charges, one of possession and another of possession of a prohibited weapon.
